To do so, we need a Digital Marketing Analyst who will bring a consistent level of awesome to our team-centered boutique environment. As one of Vancouver's fastest growing independently owned full-service communication and marketing agencies, we have built a reputation working with small and large businesses (mainly B2B) in Canada and worldwide. We specialize in content marketing, and top companies turn to us for help with strategy, branding, print, web, and digital services.

The Position
As a Digital Marketing Analyst (DMA) you will support the coordination of digital marketing project execution in a way that meets or exceeds client expectations, KPI, campaign reporting, campaign performance targets, and standards for effective teamwork. You will monitor online marketing trends, analyze statistics, develop strategies for digital marketing campaigns, and track campaign performance. You will prepare campaign performance in a way that is logical and easy to share with the client, you will create data visualizations, and present insights and findings to colleagues and clients. You will coordinate and analyze all aspects of the digital marketing project lifecycle from campaign launch to monthly reporting, campaign monitoring, campaign optimization and campaign recommendations to improve performance based on specific metrics, while developing the client relationship of the agency relationship and service delivery. Of primary importance will be the proactive communication required to align scheduling of team workloads and project deliverables to get results.

CORE AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project Management
• Collaborate with the content coordinator team to find ways to make recommendations to improve the content of the Pace Creative website and each monthly editorial calendar in an effort to increase engagement.
• Use, gather data and analyze results using Google Analytics with the goal to get certified. You will learn primary and secondary keyword search for the purpose of developing strategic content that will help get a website rank organically, based on SEO best practices.
• Use and create Data Studio reports campaign performance to support the strategist.
• Learn to use SEMRush for identifying primary and secondary keywords. Then develop and maintain SEO planning spreadsheet when working on online project. Ensure the content is accurate.
• Learn each team member’s areas of strengths and expertise to efficiency assign tasks to support your role - ensure resources are being optimized.
• Learn how to use Hootsuite, monitor engagement and performance for our clients.
• Learn how to use LinkedIn campaign manager to monitor campaign performance for our clients.
• Learn how to use Google Data Studio to monitor our client’s online presence.
• Follow CMI website (https://contentmarketinginstitute.com/) to learn, understand content marketing as well as gather new content, data and information that can be repurposed for Pace Creative’s monthly editorial calendar as well as our clients strategies.

Technical Skills for Campaign Set-Up
• Coordinates with the Strategist and Project Management team to update the brief based on research and in-depth understanding of client needs and past projects if any, and
acquires familiarity with the client’s industry and strategic marketing objectives; schedules call with the client to review parameters of the project and to determine next steps.
• Collecting and analyzing customer, marketing, and web behavioral data.
• Test digital campaigns, analyzing key metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase campaign performance.
• Organizes the project within timelines that meet client expectations; establishes regular call frequency with the strategist if needed.
• Monitoring and analyzing digital media and marketing trends.
• Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports. Understand marketing automation. Tools used include: Salesforce.com, Zapier, LinkedIn, Campaign Manager, Facebook Campaign Manager, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, AdRoll, Marketo, HubSpot, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio. Certifications for each tool is strongly recommended. Project Execution
• Successfully coordinate assigned digital marketing projects, ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of reporting to support our client’s digital projects.
• Work on reviewing, auditing and improving our digital marketing processes to help improve customer service and retention.
• Follows documented guides for how to complete each digital marketing project type as per agency standards.
• Follow reporting standards, report flow and report templates per digital project type to share data and performance.
• Work with project manager and strategist to assign tasks.
• Maintains proactive and consistent communication with the Account Executive and Strategist, so we can discuss digital marketing project status, actions to be taken, or course corrections required and is able to help identify new project opportunities
• Seeks support as soon as needed for any deliverable conflicts that could affect project timelines or budgets.
• Actively participates in weekly PM meetings, reviewing team workloads and raising concerns as issues arise; celebrates achievement of milestones and project successes.

Project Administration and Delivery
• Follows documented guidelines for how to best collaborate and use PWF.
• Follows procedures for use of the server (such as version control and storage capacity), including closing procedures for each project to enable clean archiving of project files.
• Uses agency best practices for quality assurance to review campaign performance and reports before client delivery.
• Identifies new and better ways to manage and complete agency digital marketing projects (i.e., new applications, process flows, etc.) and proactively communicates with the Operations Manager and in the PM meetings about your ideas.

Project Management Excellence – Projects are completed within timelines set, and if extensions are required, the appropriate communication and approvals are in place. Agency resources are deployed to maximize use of time and effective workload management.
Team Contribution – Demonstrates a positive attitude in assignment of the work and in bringing forward areas of concern. Solicits feedback and open to learning new approaches or adapting behavior when required. Asks questions when unsure of next steps or when problem solving assistance is required.
Quality Standards – Works to achieve the highest quality standards on each project, from project set up through coordination of project teamwork, to the quality of the final product to an outstanding client experience.
Continuous Improvement - Continues to refine the project management process through contributions to weekly meetings and making changes that are aligned with agency guidelines and in consultation with team members. Improvements are being realized in workflow efficiencies and effectiveness (within and across teams) as shown by efficiency and utilization rates.
